Pick up from your Nairobi City Hotel/ Airport and drive for 3 hours to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive at Lake Nakuru and have an extended morning game drive en route to the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. Lake Nakuru is home to the greater and lesser flamingos, black and white rhinos and a good population of the Leopards as well as over 400 bird species. Lunch at the Sarova Lion Hill. Afternoon game drive at 3.30 to 6.15 p.m. Dinner and overnight stay at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. Meal Plan: Full Board
Full day is spent exploring the park in search of the big five. The Mara offers wildlife in such a great variety and abundance that is truly difficult to believe. Over 450 species of animals have been recorded here, you will easily see rhinos, leopard, elephants, buffalo, wildebeests, zebra, warthog, Jackals, lions, many types of antelopes, crocodiles and giraffe. Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra from Serengeti (Tanzania). The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve, Picnic lunch is served in the park. In the evening return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge
